1. In another life, I'm pretty sure I was a fish (of course). I love to swim and I clearly think like a fish.

2. The best advice I've ever received is to always be yourself.

3. If I wasn't a fishing guide I would either be a chef in a fancy restaurant or in the trades working with my hands.

4. What's the most inspiring part of your job? Fishing with kids. I love seeing the smile on their faces, no matter how big the fish is.

5. When I was 5 I was pretty sure I'd be a professional hockey player. My passion for hockey eventually switched to fishing somewhere in high school.

6. One of the best fishing stories I have is one time we lost my net over the side of the boat. We borrowed a "salmon" net from a friend on the lake and proceeded to catch three 50" muskies 30 minutes later.

7. The best part of fishing with me is there is nowhere else I'd rather be than on Lake Vermilion fishing with guests.

8. Most people don't know that Lake Vermilion I believe is the best lake in MN to catch a 55"+ muskie.

9. When I'm not on the lake fishing I enjoy cooking, snowmobiling, camping, hiking, spending time with friends and family.

10. What I enjoy most about being a fishing guide is just making people smile.

11. My go-to music on the boat is hip hop, Cali reggae and alternative rock.

12. I always make sure to bring a positive fishing attitude.
